Old Age Diet

As people grow in age from child to youngster their diet increases as they have a fast growth rate. As they grow from youngster to old age their growth stops and thus it becomes necessary for them to have control on their diet. Generally people do not have control on their diet with increasing age thus it cases many problems such as diabetes, heart attack, etc.

Old age diet is a controlled and planned diet. The old age diet mainlyAging Diet focuses on control over the fat intake. There are various diet programs which help in various ways to old age people. The following are various diet programs generally followed all around:-

Purple Diet- The purple diet program consists of intake of purple foods only like red grapes, beetroot, plums etc. It is a strong belief that purple foods have a property of anti aging as they have a very high content of vitamins and anti-oxidants. Though the benefits of this diet are not accepted 100%.

Zone Diet- This diet focuses on the balance of protein and carbohydrate in the body. It also helps in reducing calory in the body. This diet program mainly focuses on weight and calostrol control which are very important factors.
